Terms of Operation

Welcome to Blockade. By installing this extension, you are agreeing to these basic operational terms. No hidden traps here—just simple guidelines on how the tool is licensed, operated, and supported.

1. License Tiers & Account Verification

Blockade offers two operational tiers: a standard **Free Pass** and upgraded paid memberships (**Annual or Lifetime Passes**). Free Pass usage strictly restricts your active blocklist slots to a single website at any given time. Paid tiers grant an unrestricted license to unlock unlimited slots and custom duration bypass windows. Subscription tiers are validated automatically via periodic, secure background network handshakes with our cloud infrastructure database using your unique Chrome Runtime ID. You are strictly prohibited from modifying local browser storage allocations to manipulate license rules or white-labeling the tool for individual redistribution.

2. Refund Parameters

We stand behind the focus utility of this tool. If Blockade does not seamlessly optimize your browsing parameters or fails to prevent your distraction loops, you can request a refund within **7 days of purchase**. Please note that the refund process will take **15-20 working days** to fully clear payment networks, though we will try our absolute best to execute it much earlier. We will refund the exact net payout amount received by my developer account from the merchant ecosystem; any fixed processing fees or card gateway deductions retained by the financial network infrastructure cannot be refunded.

3. Shared Responsibility Model

Blockade operates purely as a client-side execution layer to aid personal productivity. As the developer, we construct the focus-insulation parameters and background timer rules, but you are completely responsible for your own tracking choices and the phrases typed during unlock challenges. We assume zero liability for any files, uncompleted work assignments, financial metrics, corporate system logs, or external data pipelines affected by user-defined site restrictions, temporary bypass windows, or accidental interface access delays.
